Christ Jesus our Lord! Who is He? What is our position in Him? What He has obtained for us through His Sacrificial death, burial and glorious resurrection? Who are we in Him, what are rights, privileges, authority, and benefits in Him And what can we do in Him and for Him?

Our Vision
1. Salvation:
• It is to Win souls for Jesus Christ our Lord, people of every colour, culture and race, one Person at the time. (Mark 16:15-16; Mathew 28:19-20 & 1 Timothy 1:15).
2. Shepherding:
• It is to love, honor, value and care for the believers. (John 13:34-35, Ephesians 4:32, Galatians 6:2, Romans 12:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 John 3:17, Romans 12:13 & James 2:14-17)
• It is to train, teach, empower, ground, and establish the believers through the word. (Ephesians 4:11-14, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, & Hebrews 5:11-14).
• It is to grow and develop believers into Maturity through the word. (Hebrews 6:1, Colossians 1:28 & 1 Peter 2:1-2)
3. Sending:
– It is to send the matured into the mission field. (Romans 10:3-15, Proverbs 11:30, Isaiah 6:8, & Matthew 28:19-20)
Our Purpose:
• It is to establish, and ground believers on Christ Jesus the Living WORD of God. (Colossians 2:6-7, Mathew 7:24-27, 1 Thessalonians 2:13 & James 1:22).

Our History
In 2019 May 10th, Pastor Godfrey and Ntombi Fakude started The Word Centred Ministries by the inspiration and leading of the Holy Spirit in the backyard of their house. In the 1st of October 2019, God opened a door for them to hire a shop. Supernaturally on the 19th of May 2022 God blessed them with their own land of fellowship and Worship (The Word Centred Ministries Grounds 699 Soshanguve NN 0152).
The name “word centred ministries” is inspired by the verse in Psalm 138:2 “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: FOR YOU HAVE EXALTED (MAGNIFIED) YOUR WORD ABOVE ALL THY NAME.” The name of our church denotes that we are the church of the word and that the word has final authority in our lives, family and ministry. We are living in the generation that no longer hold God’s word highly. Instead they hold on to lots of tangible objects. The word centred ministries, is the church that holds God’s word highly; believes, loves, and lives the word. We are the ministry that preaches the word without compromise. In this church the word is our standard for living and we preach the Holistic Gospel of Christ. The word centred ministries is a voice in this generation that echoes nothing more nothing less but only God’s word. In this ministry the Holy Scriptures, the inspired word of God, the Holy Bible is our constitution. This ministry exists to show this generation that the word alone still WORKS. And that everything people need in this life is found only in God’s word: Salvation is found in God’s word (“being born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the WORD OF GOD, which liveth and abideth forever” 1 Peter 1:23) Healing is found in God’s word (“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” Proverbs 4:20-22”.) Psalm 107:20 “He sent his Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”
Deliverance is found in God’s word (“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” John 8:32) Psalm 107:20 “He sent his Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”
Miracles are found in God’s word (“and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it” Mark 16:20) Breakthrough is found in God’s word Blessings are found in God’s word Life is found In God’s word Marriage is found in God’s word Restoration and restitution is found in God’s word Growth and development holistically is found in the word etc. When you have the word you have everything that you need in this life hence we are word centred.
God and his word are one. You can’t separate God and his word that is why we are word centred. John 1:1 “in the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God 2 The same was in the beginning with God 3 all things were made by Him; and without him was not anything made that was made 14 The WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”.
